Garden Fest at Bakersfield College
Grow it, Cook it, Love it.

Join Dale and Lindsay at Garden Fest 2015 on April 18, 2015 begins at 9:00 AM until 4:00PM at Bakersfield College. Garden Fest is a day long family oriented open house that attracts thousands of vistors to the one day outdoor event. Garden Fest has been said to be, "Bakersfield's premiere springtime garden event." You will enjoy gardening, plant sales, arts and crafts, farmer's market, pet care, outdoor leisure, BC Clubs, food, and more.
Enjoy the Country Garden interactive gardening seminars from the California Landscape Contractor's Association stage in Renegade Park located at Bakersfield College. This is a live stage show along with the friends of the Country Garden making you laugh and learn about the joys of gardening. And don't miss Dale's favorite segment, the grilling demonstration with Bakersfield College's director of Culinary Arts, Chef Alex Gomez.
Enjoy the Country Garden Experience, an attraction featuring demonstration gardens that you can plant in your own yard. The exhibits are sponsored by local nurseries, landscape businesses and Bakersfield College Environmental Horticulture. The Country Garden Experience will feature edible gardens, water wise gardens, container gardens, herb gardens and more. Walk through the Country Garden pathways and get great ideas for the yard and patio. Many of the exhibits will have plants for sale or you can enter into the Country Garden Experience raffle and possibly win one of the exhibits for your home.
